spigot is the bearing that sits in the end of the crankshaft that the input shaft of the gearbox runs in .In a t5 equiped commodore it is actually a bronze bush and it has no moving parts...the shaft just spins in it.The thust bearing is the throwout bearing which is totally different and it is a bearing and race assembly that pushes on the fingers of the pressure plate when you want the clutch to dissengauge to change gears etc by pushing on the clutch pedal.

not a spigot bearing that sits in the end of the crankshaft it is called a spigot bush and if you have to remove one just fill it up with heavy grease and get an old spigot shaft or a piece of doweling that is a snug fit meaning it will go in with a bit of force then hit the end of the dowel or spigot shaft and the spigot bush will start to move out you some times have to pack It a couple of time's but it will come out grease acts like hydraulic and pushes it out
