Killed V6

hey a friend of mine has a VR V6 his killed his engine, to much oil, car stopped on the M4, had to take it home, and tapping like a biach the whole way, he is absolutly dying for a V8. would a V8 fit in straight away, are the gearboxs the same, and are there any parts which would be needing changing??

Also another question, does anyone know any places that wreck mainly commodores to grab an engine and how much they would go for

A lot of stuff would need changing. Ask Grommitt on the forums, he's done one in his VS S pack recently.

go take it to a mechanic. surely you have a mate whos in the business. screw this weekend warrior shit and no engineering cert and get dont like grommit
