minior overheat now and then

hey all, just looking for some help..

My VR drives nicely when driving it normally doesn’t overheat; tho once stopped it starts to up. I just want to know if anyone has the same problem, then when I take of it starts to go down again.
I have replaced the radiator, thermostat, radiator cap and water pump new coolant and my thoughts would be why would it over heat at all with like all new parts?..

got rid of all the air bubbles, even cleaned out the overflow bottle..

so yer, if ya know how to fix or idea please post, driving me nuts lol,:bang:

wat temp does it usually sit on and how high does it go when stopped?

hrmm it normallly sits now a bit over the second bar from the bottom and once stopped at lights or something it goes up anyway to half way or so

I think thats fairly normal - once the temp reaches the halfway mark the electric fan kicks in and the temp will drop. You can force the fan on by turning the aircon on.

if the thermofans dont turn on automatically at the half way, is that something can be fixed by fuse/wire/or something?

run a computer check, found in the How To section, fan come son autmatically when you do that

cheers, i just dont get it how the car is getting hot, with all new parts thats all, but hey if thats normal then its normal

ummmm half way is the normal running temp dude dont go spending all the cash for nothing.....all it is doing is keeping the mechanic happy
