Purge tank?

Hey again all..
I was Lookng Under the hood of my vs the other day and notived the purge tank... can anyone explain to me what this is? i never seen one before.. thanks guys

Your car must be anorexic....

Kidding.... Its part of the emissions controls. It "catches" fuel vaopur from the fuel tank and sends it back to the fuel tank once it re-liquefies.
