Buying Superlows = New Struts too?

ok well i went to local suspension shop today to get a quote on "Super Low" springs as i only have lows (which dont look much different to stock). any way the guys there made a few fone calls and told me that id need to get new struts and that i would be repalcing my bearing plates every few months ??? whats the go here? is this true? why cant i just get springs ?

lol by the sounds he doesnt wonna do the job, (ive been the before) and i think he is trying to scare me with the prices off all this so he doesnt have to do it, lol

hey i've always wondered about this topic, my car has irs so i would get a camber correction kit if i put in lowered springs...but do i need new shocks aswell or do they drop with the springs pull/cars weight?

stock shocks with superlows = springs falling out when going over bumps lol
they simply extend too far and let the springs out of their seats when the shock is fully extended

hmm, so its shocks i should replace, any idea how much theyd cost?

no more than $450 a set of four monroe gt gas
dont pay any more go to motor traders or something and get them you will get a better deal

ok did sum looking, i got,, pedders comfort gas shokies will these do the job or need replacing?

not sure... you will need to measure your old ones with the new ones cos there isnt much difference between lowered and standard... only about 3 centimeters or so but it is enough to keep the springs in
