Vt Seat In A Vr? Anyone?

Hey there......
has anyone fitted VT front seats in a VR before? A buddy of mine has VT SS seats he is selling & i was considering adapting them in my VR wagon. I dont want to buy em if they wont fit without major #@%$** :bang:

quite simply take the rails off the bottom of your vr seats and put them on the vt ones ...i say quite simply, but its really a bitch to do...i broke a good allen key doing this before!...its also lots of fun getting the seats out to start with (lots of small allen key turns)

cool. so the rail for the vr bolts to the vt seat eh?
no job is complete without mind numbing quirks like 1/8th turns on a spanner/allenkey :supersad:

yeah mate the rails will swap over no worries...the only reason you gotta do this is because the bolt points wont line up on the floor if you use the vt rails.

are you sure its that easy? not saying it isnt, but from what i read the backs are alot more ****ing around..

theres a few threads in the street commos site, check it out. its very handy.

but yeah, back seats are a hassles, totally different design.. so the "easiest" way it to put them in a vn-vs is to put the vn-vs frame on the vt foam.
