passenger side door doesnt close

every once in a while try and close passenger side door and the hatch doesnt close
wots the way to fix the problem?

if you look at the door lock on the door itself where it hits the striker and snaps shut
lubricate it with grease and manually close it while the door is open do this a few times and then try closing the door.

i had the same problem with the drivers side door on my car.
