i have just purchased a 96 vs v6 colum shift auto 3 seater ute $8000 :w00t: it was a one owner 109 thousand kms log books botanica blue in immac condition apart from the rear of the roof and the edges of the tray are scratched from putting work stuff etc on it now a few things confused me about it the car dosent have central locking it has a key with a single button but the key is badly damaged the guy said the key is just used to turn the interior light on and off is it going to be a problem to get a replacement single headed key from holden ???

Hey nice buy... the utes always go for much more so one with so low km's for $8k very good buy, looks pretty neat.

Can't help on the key though sorry :p

Column shift too... dicky seat just enough room for a carton ;)

sweet :D i thought it was a good buy they want like heaps more for simular sorts elsewhere this one just dosent have the fruit but at least i have the cash to do it up :D

well when i get it i need to change the instrument cluster because its one of those level 1 clusters!!!!! and i need to see if holden can replace those keys for me

dont see holden about the keys, shop around & you prob find better deal from locksmiths or similar.

I thought the VR's had the single button keys.....

to late about the keys went to holden and got new ones first weekend i had the car :p as there is no central locking what would be the point of two buttons ?

Nice looking ride, very clean and a bargain too. Always wanted a VS ute but after having owned 2 VS sedans got pretty tired of them getting old and troublesome so then went the VY :)
