VS Door Lock Mechanism

I think the mechanism for my remote locking is rooted, I took the door skin off today, took a look inside and found the numbers GM 90277865.

What is the description for this part number and cost please?

Cost from Holden brand new, I'd expect it to be pricey. Could say 'go wreckers' but chances are you end up with a dud. If it's lasted for this long, then it's possibly safe to say a brand newy would last for around the same time.

I'd call it a central locking actuator. But if you quote the guy at Holden the part no, he looks it up on his comp and knows what it is you're after.

correct!! it is door lock actuator also check out the price for a complete lock mechnism unit i bought 4 for my car was a tiny bit dearer than buyin the actuator on its own but made it easier to replace!

got one from a local wreckers, came out of a vr stato.. works nicely.. $40
