Ive got a problem when I try to lock my doors with the button, all doors will lock except for my drivers door lock which just stays where it is (no movement at all) and then the car beeps at me.
Ive decided maybe its time for a new door lock actuator (I think thats what its called) but before I install a new one, I want to remove the non-working one and have a fiddle with it, maybe I could loosen it up if its seized or something?
I've taken off the door skin, unplugged the cable from the bottom of the unit, disconnected the rod that was connected to the unit from the inside door lever, unscrewed the 3 hex screws that hold the door lock in place.. but something else must still be attached, I cant seem to remove the entire unit.
Any ideas?
Also I have found a replacement unit from a vr for $40 from a wreckers, will this fit okay as a replacement?
