replacing bearings on Drive Belt tensioner Pulley

Ive just recently started hearing a winding to whistling sound coming from the engine. I thought it was the intake but Ive now located the source to be the Drive belt tensioner pulley bearings. Ive removed the belt and inspected the pulley and it was spinning freely but whistling but now its very tight and doesnt spin at all without pressure. Now to fix this do I need to replace the whole assembly or is there a way to replace just the bearing and not need tear into my engine. And if anyone knows what these parts will cost?
Cheers.

I've always bought the complete assembly and had to buy from Holden recently.
But they're normally available from Supercheap, Autobarn etc or the comlete unit from a bearing supplier at a much cheaper price.
Don't forget there is the tensioner as well as 2-idlers to check.

The bolt that holds the idler on the belt tensioner is left hand thread.
