Engine Seize

My Engine On My 1996 Vs Recently Seized, I Have Had It Looked At But Without Taking The Engine Out They Cant Work Out Why It Has Done It. Would It Work Out Cheaper To Get My Engine Rebuilt Or To Buy A Second Hand Engine. I've Been Looking Around For Second Hand Ones But Cant Find Any Ecotec Ones In The V6.

where abouts are you from, if your in perth have a look in the quokka they always seem to have the ecotec recons pretty cheap around $1500 i think
