It could be a loose universal joint (i think?) I'm pretty sure mine has that problem too. It'd be a simple fix, but I CBF

The owners manual says to keep your foot off the accelerator when selecting drive till you feel it engage...this can take a few seconds. One of my sons borrowed my VS and commented on the harsh drive selection - turned out he was immediately flooring it after putting the selector into drive and this resulted in one hell of a thump. It can also be caused by the idle being set too high.

I have my foot lightly on the brake when I put it into drive although I did tighten the throttle cable but that hasn't increased the idle revs. I'll just take it to soemone to look at because I have warrantee on it.

HOw did u go?

Mine does the same... a good way to test is put your foot on the brake, move the gear stick into D, wait for it to engage or clunk, then into R and wait for the clunk again... mine clunks a bit- ive had my accelerator cable tightened too but revs are the same...!???

HOW MUCH does it cost to get the uni's replaced???
