vr air con, please help!

i have a lil prob, i pulled out the air con switches outta my car, and what i didn know was that the switch that u turn to go from cold to hot, had like a long metal bit behind it, now i cant switch from cold to hot

were does the long metal screw looking thing connect to??

can any1 help, pics could help also if possible

The end of the metal rod you've mentioned should have some thread on it like a nut. If you look carefully where the heat exchange unit. There should be a white plastic liver, which allows the rod to be connected.

You might need to use a flat screw driver to pry out the end bit of the white plastic liver so you could insert the rod and then clip it back again.

Yea near where the end of the metal rod sits there should be a white plastic connector. The connector clips onto the rod. Let us know how you go, if you get stuck I will take a pick.
