Alarm to doors hook up

Ok, so I’ve got my alarm hooked up so that when the interior light comes on the alarm goes off. This worked fine in my old vn as the interior light only came on when a door was open. The problem I’m having now is that my vr’s interior light is on a delay, so the light stays on even if all car doors have been shut, so when I go to arm my alarm after getting out and closing the door, it thinks there’s still a door open.

Anyone got any ideas? As I still want the alarm to go off when a door is opened, otherwise it’s a bit pointless having it in :hit:

when you press the button on the key and lock the doors the light should go off immediatly
well it does on mine but then i have a vs may be different set up

I think it checks to make sure all the doors are shut before it locks or something

find the delay timer in the light circuit and befriend some wire cutters.
