abs and batt light on????

hi,
the battery light and abs off light has flashed 2 or 3 times over the last couple of weeks in my stato, it did it today and i put the car in neutral and gave it a good rev and they went out???? has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know what it is???? thanks in advance!!!

Not sure about the ABS, but have you got a voltmeter? You can check your battery and alternator at least. Check the battery with the engine off (should be about 12v) and with the engine running, should be about 15v

Check for error codes to is a good place to start.
