sqeeking steering wheel.

Hi guys
ive got a sqeeking noise coming from where the streeing wheel. would spraying silicone spray behind the wheel fix the problem? or do i need to take the wheel off? and how do i go about taking the darn thing off? it also has a n air bag. would tamering with it set the bag off?

Also the light behind the temperature and fan controls have blowen. how do take the panel off to replace the globe?

Spray the oil from inside the engine compartment - just under the master cylinder where the steering column goes thru the firewall.
