Wiper Motor Stuffed?

windscreen wiper makes a grinding sort of noise whe i turn em on, i can move wiper manual about 1 cm then turn on and no noise, but when it returns to bottom it getsa tuck and makes same noise, ive taken the blades of and still make noise. any suggestions?

neva mind, the motor is stuffed, any idea price of one these?

Are you sure, they do have a tendency to come loose. I would have thought that if it goes when you move the motor is most likely ok, this isn't the case 100% of the time but most likely to be correct.

the motors fine, the bolt hole things that hold onto the link are stuffed (2 of 3 snapped off, so the motor turns and loosens the only bolt holding it on.) and coz they are on the motor i need a new motor

have you tried tightening the bolts where the arm connects to the motor?? Mine were loose ans made it sound sirty and not move

haah post at same time ive tightened one of three, the other two are broken off (were it bolts into)

ok cheers, just got me new ignition barrell installed, need universal joints for tailshaft replaced, and my pulleys need replacing, and some clunking back in my suspension (only replaced about 7mths) so gota work out wot my priorites ar e lol since its off pay week and all
