Hey guys,
A mate of mine is looking at selling me a strut brace that he never used..Just wondering is it worth putting it on??
Ive got a Exc VR with Lowerd Suspension, Fatter Tyers and Stiffer Suspension...

Will the strut brace fit in the engine bay without mods??

And if anyone out there has already does this...does it make a difference??
if so is there enough difference to bother puttting one one

thanks guys
sean,
:hit:

you'll get people that swear by them.. and people who swear against them. kinda like the great 'mini spool vs LSD' debate. theres a thread floating around, i think its called 'know nothings' in the pub where its gone into in depth.

should just bolt straight onto your strut tops as long as its off the same car

if its for a vr it will fit
will possibly make your cornering a lot stiffer as in bodyroll all they do is stop inward and outward flex between the towers

i mean if its designed for the same car it will fit. ie. a strut brace designed for a VX might not fit a VR, but one designed for a VR will fit

yeah it will stop body roll, if you want to get the best out of it, you can get ones for the rear end as well. Im going to get some soon, after driving a mates VS with them, got back in my car and it was like driving a bus(body roll king)

depends wat it is.
Whiteline 3 anchor point ones go for 150
while the better looking Nothlene with 6 anchor points would work better
cost around the same.
I bought the whiteline. Does the job.

Yeah depends... if it's a decent brand one for $60 it's a bargain.. can't go wrong.

If it's one of those ebay jobbies dont bother... it'll break the first time you hit a pothole.

Hey dude...also dont forget...that on a 6cyl...they dont usually fit with the ecotech engine cover on...so if your willing to take that off then thats the only thing you gotta do to put it on...Cheers
