vr executive
i got $2,000 bucks worth of repairs to my old 93 vr comm ex

one thing the fixed was leakin oil from 'rear'? of engine
anyway they had to remove engine to do it (about $700)

when i drove away from holden service center in west melb
my car VIBRATES at the lights (when in drive or reverse, but not moving)
my car don't vibrate when moving, just when no moving and in drive (or reverse)

before i put car into service the car was quite and not vibrating when in drive n not moving

now it vibrates the steering wheel slightly constantly in my hands and feels wierd when im not moving
its a very small vib thu but its a new thing

also the engine sounds diff and louder when im still at lights
sometimes the whole front dash area vibrates very slightly too

i took it back next day and they refitted the exsort pipe and said that was the vib problem fixed (for free)- but as i drove away agian it still vibrated

should i take the car back agian
or is this just what happens when an 13 yr old car gets its engine removed n replaced?

thanks for any info:driving:

I have a 'couple'
We removed my engine and replaced it in my 13 yo car and it doesn't vibrate at all. I would be taking it back if the problem concerns you. It may be something like an engine mount - hard to say without seeing/feeling/hearing.
