1-2 shift "A" solenoid

Hey gang,
Could anyone out there in almighty commodore land tell me how to fix diagnostic trouble code 8-2 (1-2 shift "A" solenoid auto-trans fault), would be much appreciated!!!!!

I had the same problem with my VS some years ago but with the 2-3 solenoid.
I found a decent auto trans place and they changed the part, done an oil change and filter and only cost me $350

So I sugest you check that out but dont let them fool you as i was initially told i needed a reco trans but checked out a few other places and found somone honest.:king:
