g'day
been searching around and the info i fould has me more confused...

My vr auto seams to be missing whe at low RMP or going uphill.
it feels like one of the cylinders isnt firing cause its a constant miss. and it will hapen for 5 minutes then not for 5, then it will start again.
the mechanic reckons its an electrical problem. and said to take it in tomorrow for him to change the plugs and leads, and charge $190... so i'm doing these tomorrow myself.

anone had this problem before'?

cheers
scott

injector cleaner is just a bandaid fix, and will do SFA if your injectors are shagged.
sounds to me like a dead lead. same symptoms I had a while back. changing plugs may benefit, depending on age of current plugs

plugs/leads, I use factory leads (they work fine, but I don't like the size, they don't fir in the factory clips - go figure)
plugs, just NGK standards, iridium aren't work the $ if you don't have a HY-PO engine

um... plugs are about $3 each (x6) and leads were round 65 I think. Yeah it did solve the problem, but like everything else, I now have more to sort through :bang:

one thing to keep in mind, is some problems present themselves as others. IE you could have a dud coil or DFI and it will present itself as a stuffed lead. so be prepared to cough up more $ if needed.
