Mmm yep just car will let you have any mod so long as it's legal...

I just wasn't happy for the value they would insure me, check it out before you do anything (it's on the last page of the quote).

If you drop it to 50mm with Just Cars, and you have to have it all legal, then they have you by the balls if you make a claim, they don't need to pay up

Holden Standard height: 150mm.
ADR standard Height, unloaded vehicle: 120mm
ADR Standard height, fully loaded vehicle: 100mm.

Therefore, if you drop the car 50mm, you're at the fully loaded height.
That's if your car was stock.
Since you've put the 17's on, you'v raised it 25 mm

Therefore, you should be JUST sitting legal. So be VERY careful!
That's IF you kept high profile tyres on the 17s, if you DIDN'T, then you're going to be sitting back down on the 100mm point.

I think the rule in general is - keep it legal.

Some companies will be narks about it... but those like just cars just want it legal.

I have a 'couple'
I had the same problem when insured with RACQ and I could only lower the same as NRMA. Ended up going with Kings Lows. The problem with superlows is that they are just that little bit too low and come very close (if not lower) that 100mm even if your insurance company allows it more than 30mm lower
