Brakes Upgrade

Hello, well its time to upgrade my brakes cause mine are now on the edge of being replaced so does anyone know if there are any better brakes that i can step up 2 from my stock ordinary ones?

depends what sort of car it is, alot of ppl choose the vt big brake upgrade

its a vr commodore and im just leaning towards brembo but if there is a better alternative

AFAIK the VT big brake upgrade will only fit if you have 17" + wheels..

well i want bigger brakes that will last a while the way i drive,.... so how much am i looking at to upgrade to the vt?

I'd forget about Brembos cause of the cost. Have you looked at the JC shop. They have some great brake upgrade kits and you can guarantee they will fit a commodore.

I'd say a standard VT setup with slotted rotors and a good set of pads ahould stop a VR nicely. At least try it before you spend really big bucks anyway.

Speaking of upgrading brakes, can someone please tell me why cross-drilled brakes perform better? I'm a bit of an automotive retard but I'm interested to know. Thanks.
