    Default Bump Stops?

Fulcrum advised me that my bumpstops r to long in the front..... Because the car is lowered (nothing dramatic) they said its riding on the bump stops n needs to have shorter ones fitted? Any 1 else heard of this? Or know where to get shorter bumpstops? Ive got a feeling fulcrum r having a go of me......

As low as 99% of all the other commos on the road, Its nothing stupid, got 17's so its just been brought down a tad to make it look respectable.

I think they are having a lend of you as I have VS II Berlina v6 with super low king springs fitted with 180,000km old original front struts and I have no knock at all. Get another opinion man.

Yeah thats wat i reckon to, they have already ripped me off a fair bit, now they reckon that its riding on the bump stops n that the bump stops r actually fitted the wrong way round??? Cant think that i have ever heard any other commo owner mention that they needed shorted bump stops.

It is really not that low!

Yeh didn't read that properly sorry.

Only case I've heard of shortened bumpstops being needed was ultralow rears in a wagon.

i wouldnt say they are talking sh*t....when i lowered my vs (super low kings) my front end was riding the bump stops...but that was because my shocks were absolutely f*cked, after replacing them it doesnt have any dramas.
you can get shortened bump stops for really low cars, but i dare say you wouldnt need them.

DON'T go to pedders cairns, they're the biggest rip off ever. they wanted $1400 to fix some crap in my berlina, and $1700 to fix more or less the same stuff in my parents' vr. the bloke i bought the berlina off (who worked near pedders) said that people who were comin up from down south said they pay about 3 times less to get the same stuff done down there. i nearly had a fit when when i saw the examination results. it's only $14 to get a full check done but you don't wanna see the price for the results. get a check, and let me know how much it comes to.
