Guys and Girls,
I need a hand with something. my boot reflector is cracked (the part above the number plate b/w the taillights on the boot) and i wouldnt have a clue if they are replaceable as a seperate item or if im gonna have to get a whole new boot. heres a pic of the spot im talkin about, not my car tho (thanks 'death-from-above').![]()
Cheers,

Yes they are separate. Probably just a couple of screws on the inside of the bootlid.

theres about 5 little bolts that hold that thing on all 8mm from memory had mine off about 2 weeks after i got my car now had the car for 2 years so not positive that im right but they are replacable and wreckers sell them for about 15-30 bucks
three thing in life are guaranteed
taxes
death

Grey is standard, I sprayed mine white to match the car looks good with nightshads, regards kirk
Captain
rear boot garnish is what your after, rare to find a good one at wreckers (as most crashes are front or rear damage) ...took me a coupla months to get one for my vs ...its was cracked from someone reversing every so slightly into the boot.
cost me $40 in the end, some wreckers dont like to separate the garnish fromt he boot if the whole lot is in good nick, they can get more money that way.
hmmm...so its just a case of shop around till i find one. too easy. thanks for the info guys

When you do replace it, be very careful to not over tighten the nuts that hold it on. The plastic became very brittle over time and breaks easy. If you do break it, it won't sit flush with the boot.
