VR S2 Code 31

This is an intermittent one.

1) Attempt to start car get nothing, no sound, like inhibitor switch is activated, as if you
were trying to start car in R...
Same for starts in Neutral
2) Turn ignition off and on again, HOLD key on, one second delay and car starts as
normal.
3) Sometimes you have to do this more than once, to start car.

Gregorys indicates fault in ECU or TCM...

your remote key is failing, get it replaced before it lets you down completely
