My son has just fixed my radio. The display light for the stations and other functions went out on me.
Eurovox charge $160 plus postage.
I got a lot of mail from others with the same issue and other saying just change the head unit.
I like my car to be as original as possible. That includes the sound and at my age anyway a good system ussually just sounds farking louder and no clearer.
I blame Deep Purple.
Anyway Dean did mine, took about 1 hour and I told him I would pass the word on that if anyone else has the issue with the original H/U's and want them repaired he will do them, with return postage for $100.
Postage will be around $20 - $25 so that is cheap.
