you know 270,000 k's is alot. that's around 24,500 every year, and the average is 15 - 20k a year. that means alot of wear and tear, but it sorta depends on your service history, and where you are (metro/rural).

I'd expect to pay about $3500 for one with those K's and it would have to be registered and roadworthy and pretty clean. If I was selling I'd ask for $4800 and take as low as $4200. Unfortunately they are a dime a dozen and dealers don't want them as trade-ins .... everyone wants an econo-box with the current fuel prices.

yeah with the fuel prices so high, oyu got buckleys of getting a good price even for a 6. I pity the V8 brigade who want to sell up...

as for price, I wouldn't pay more than $4500, but that's my area for ya

Pfft.

3500 at the max.

Take the rims off and keep them or sell them separately. As soon as a prospective buyer see's the k's they will not like a 5000 price tag.

I just paid $5000 for my 96 VS exec with 170,000. Had full service history.

So I'd expect probably around $3500-4000 for one with that many km's.

2x VS
11 yr old car...high Km's... you might persude me to part with $3500 max with those mags...if I was 16 yrs old, was buying my first car and liked VS Commmodores.... but the km's and no stereo will be the killer.

But I'd probablly pass on it if the body and interior are ordinary... vs exec are a dime a dozen...

You might get over $500 on eBay just for your mags! but then I guess you'd need to buy other wheels to replace them so you wouldn't gain much doing that... may as well leave them on the car as that is the only thing thats really boosting its value.

Redbook reckon $2800 to $4800...

last september i got my stock as a rock vs sedan for $5500 with 159000 kms probably $3000 - $3500 max with those kms and no rims take the advice of power21 and take the rims off you get a little bit further with your cash i just sold my mint 99 vt series II for $11200 (i had simular offers for the car with the good rims on) and i gained an extra $750 by chucking a set of cheap second hand berlina alloys and selling the 17" vz ss rims seperatly

VS II S-PAK Manual
i bought my Manual 97 VS II S-PAK for $5600 with only 165,000kms on the clock and its in perfect mechanical order, even came with 16" rims (nothing special). only prob was it had a bit of panel damage, easy fix though.

i reckon if u hold out longer, u can find a cheaper VS with less kms for a better price, and go for something different than an exec
