hi guys just wondering wats the best time you have got down the 1/4 mile?
i done a 15 flat with out the exhaust system on it now, also its a VR V6 manual.

mines a VS V6 with 270000klms on the clock and I've ran a 15.7 and only mods are no cat natually forced cold air induction, by natually forced I meen I don't have a turbo or super charger just the scoopes on the bonnet which the air is forced into while driving along the faster you go the more that the air is forced into the engine.

best of 14.717 @ 147.67 kph still have the stock diff & tyres aswell so thats not to bad for a n/a v6

Might send mine down the 1/4 if we ever organise a night to go out to AIR.

my best time was 16.2 I'm driving a vs v6 and I have done is CAI and K&N filter, I think a LSD would help that heaps because when I take off it squeals and my reactions times are bad I'm it takes me over a second to realise it's green. Although I just got a service done and it's running alot better now so I could prob get 15's if I went back to the track.

high 14's for me. exhaust and CAI. but dodgy timer so give and take.

bush basher commodores dont rev to 140 in 2nd gear unless u have changed ur diff gears what kind of motor and gear box u got???

are you sure because I've dropped it into first and gunned it because I ashumed it would auto change up but finding out it only does it from first to second I hit the rev limiter at 140

My old vs would shift to third at around 120... that's at WOT. I'd be very surprised if it made it to 140... might have to try it one day with the s/c and see where it gets to.

it won't shift to third if its still in second. unlike it shifting to second when its still in first.

it won't shift to third if its still in second. unlike it shifting to second when its still in first.

you can't really judge by their finishing speed if their talking shit it just shows where your car picks up it's speed better like there's a good video on the FIT website with a holden v6 s/c V's ford boss v8 the holden won of course but it crossed the line slower than the ford. If you don't believe someone get them to post their slip.

the mph shows alot about the run if say a car runs 14.4@102 u could definantly say that car has more potenial in it because by the looks of that time it had a slow 60ft.just wanna see if the numbers match there times

here is mine guy's !! 14.717 @ 91.74mph but thats with the standard open center diff,tyres,etc so we will see how it goes with that changed & 3.7 gears. just have to wait till kwinana opens up again in 3 months time !!!

Well mine dose, and thats just with the foot flat and gear in drive and as far as I know nothing has ever been done to the drive train.

my auto does 130 in 2nd, and i think mines pretty standard except cold air and k&n and removed bellmouth

iv done 70 in 1st gear...acidently left it in first after doin standstill and realesed when egine was growning big time!

have made that mistake before, dont sound to healthy after a while...
cant say ive been down the 1/4 yet...

just get a mate or to to go down with ya...dosnt matter if you both have slow cars (well not slow but not fast for 1/4 mile) youl have some fun
