I am looking at more ways of makin my car look better on the outside.
Heres the list of things ive done so far:
1. 18" wheels
2. lowered with superlow king springs
3. painted calipers and drums
4. slimline plates
5. clear side indicators
6. exhaust tip

Soon i will be tinting my windows which will make it look alot better in my opinion. Also i am not a big fan of body kits or spoilers so that is out of the question.
Also thought about removing the black side strips but havent yet in fear of wrecking my paint.

Any other mods you know of to make a commodore look better?

you could try painting the door handles the same colour as the car... put in some new tail lights... i prolly wouldn't worry about the exterior strips if you're not going to put on a body kit, cos that way you can keep the original bumper which has the black strip aswell, so it all flows. do you have some pics of what it has so far?

personal preference... i don't really like debadging, especially if you're not gonna put on a kit. i guess it's just up to you. vr's are still fairly good looking commodores, especially when you find one that's in good nick. here's a pic of mum and dad's old one.

I will go take a pic now although the car is a bit dirty :p

yea that's a good idea, my parents' old car had them painted, like in the pic above.

Being dark i reckon you should get some of the taillights with the clear indicators i know it doesnt sound like much but it really looks alot better than the orange ones and since you have the clear side indicators they will all match.

Tyson2001 how low is your car and what type of springs are they on it looks awesome.
