head gasket

hey guys.... looking at buying a vr but it has a blown head gasket the guy said... i know there can be other problems with a blown head gasket is there anything i can do to find out..?? thanks :unsure:

well id stay away from car if has blown head gaskets, could of overheaten, and you will have annoying probs lata on i rekon

yeh i'd stay away from it, father inlaws XF had a blown head gasket we had nothing but trobble with it had to get head shaved and ****, and still have probs
