I just purchased from Ebay a unit to close my windows when I hit the alarm.
work great and will be getting one for my son on payday.
No effort to install and close the window if it rains.

Just buy a switch from dick smith and wire it into the power wire, that way for that one a thousand time that you want your windows down but you car locked with your alarm on, you can just switch it off.

i think i can help
I cut into the wires coming directly out of the switches in the center console, there is a wire that comes out of the switch that goes to the motor (up). Ths saves tracing wires all through the car

As for the triger, i simply got a voltmetre and tested the wires running through the grommet into the drivers door. You will find one that give out a voltage (6v i think, but its not important) when you lock the doors.

If you really get stuck i can try and get some photos when i get home tomorrow.

hope that it helped

i find it to be more useful for the other passengers in the car that dont wind up the windows.
Having never had a family car with power windows it was all new to me,

i would recommend the unit, i thing its great.
The one i have you can easly set it to be bypassed if you wanna leave the windows down and still lock the car.

my two cents anyway

I bought a jaycars one about a month ago but haven't really had a go at putting it in, I was worried I might have to massacre the wiring running under the centre console. Is it easy to put in without making a dogs breakfast of the wiring?
