reco d trans how much?

Hey all Im a new member saying hi.

Its a tragic first post, but, such is life. My missus drove home a few kms on a slipping trans, most likely killed it. Out of the blue the trans seems to have died.

Anyway, it needs to be sorted out. I think Ill just get it changed over with a reco. Anyone have a ball park figure for V8 auto trans (HBD Turbo Hydramatic 700- R4)?

I thought as much. I appreciate it. Plenty websites advertising it (recos) but no one seems to want to put a figure on it.

motor traders is where you will find the cheapest ones too so get in contact with them somehow....google motor traders and see wot comes up

but I Googled and got 10 pages of Motor Traders - each one of them a different outfit . Ill persist and see what I can find.

Wen i still had my vs it cost me 1550 to have it rebuilt.
Not a reco stuck in.
Came with a 3yr 60k warrenty too!!!

Yea shop around. I found a big price diff between them, even though they all offered about the same warranty.
