Make it a little lower..

recently had superlows pedders all round put in my vr commy, the back looked a little high, so i enquired howto make it a little lower,

was told about these shorter spring insulators from pedders, (ment to be 6mm shorter then oem ones) so i purchased 2 for 42 bux or sumin, put them in and it dropped a fair bit more.

attached is a photo off height now, didnt get a photo of height before lower insulators though but it has dropped a fair bit and is still all legal (had to get exhuast lifted tho)

To me it's looking a little to 'low' in the back now, but maybe when you get some bigger wheels it may even out.

may I ask home much $$$ the super lows were?

yea im getting some 17" senator rims and tread in a few weeks the pedders springs were 82 each

Looks alright mate, you can get the exhaust 'lifted'? The lowest part of my car is the cat and if i could get it lifted I could get the car lowered at the rear more (currently superlows) so it's sitting even and still be legal

what do the spring insulators look like and where do thy go, cos my rear could do with a lil more lowering after i got the susp done at pedders?

they go on top of the spring - between spring and body

attached are the ones in before hand

Lucky u got juicy tyres otherwise with low profiles u will end up with a little more gap between guard n tyre.

hmm will it be much? im getting 17's senator (low profile but dunno tyre size)
