The wife mentioned a couple of times that the VS was noisy in the morning when she starts it. I took a listen and just noticed a little tick noise around the fan. Nothing serious or so I thought.
This morning she started it and I heard it from upstairs. Went down to the garage and there was this racket coming from around the sump area. This went on for about 30 seconds and then I asked her to give it a rev to see what happened. It seemed to quieten down a little and off she went.
This is apparently the noise she was referring too. doesn't happen all the time. Definitely around the sump area toward the front of the engine but low down in the sump. Oil is OK. Engine runs smooth enough, slight engine rock in neutral since the new engine mounts went in. Regularly serviced.
Any theories? I suspect $$$$$$
