auto felt like it was goin to stall while driving

hi guys i have a vs clubsport 185i and today i left work and my engine light come on and when i took off it felt like it was going to stall like the revs would drop then rise and when it was put in drive it made a clunk from the back end please help

i can try im a bit of a retard when it comes to motors lol i looked up the how to's on this site but its a bit confusing

lol its not that hard once u no how to do it check at the top of the vr-vs section 'Error codes or sumin similar

i tried it but couldnt do it i put the clip in the right places but i didnt get no engine light but the oil light and that were on. ahh so confusing.

when you put it in drive, had you just been reversing? sometimes if you switch between drive and reverse and take off too soon without waiting a second or to, there will be a bit of a clunk sound and a jolt.

As for almost stalling, just do the usual for a start like check lead connection, but usually that doesnt bring up the engine light or set any codes

Could be a faulty oxygen sensor but you really need to display the error codes.
