G'day, Good to hear you got a VS. The main difference between a VS and a VR is the engine. few minor cosmetic differences as well. The black background lion badge is the VR badge the chrome lion badge is the VS one.
VS also has cupholders on glovebox, VR doesnt.

The cupholders are only in S2 VS.

Some minor differneces I remember.

- Grey seatbelts, Black in VR
- Passenger side airbag offered in some cars(stock in Acclaims)
- Differnet badges
- Different side moulding for execs, Acclaims etc
- Calais received the new two tone look in S2, aswell as the L67 S/C option
- VS has 2 Oxygen sensors on both sides of exhaust(All up to VR had only 1)
- 147kw Ecotec engine replaces 130kw Buick, 4L60E transmission remains the same as far as I know
- All S2 models come stock with front mount auto tranny coolers.
- IRS optional on Berlina models (not 100% sure if it was the same on VRs)
- The front nose in between front bumper and bonnet is silver.
- Badges are chrome lion badges on front and rear.

A few other things I can't remember right now. They're very similar cosmetically.
