as with most commodores they all seem to rattle and have small annoying noises. im jus curious how everyone solved them. at the momenti jus crank up the stereo but whenever its not on it drives me crazy. the ash trays rattle, the glove box, my door locks, door handles.... ive sound deadened the boot lid heaps but that doesnt seem to stop rattling...

please help!

The old Parramatta Road used car dealers trick to stop rattles in the bombs they sold was to lower the pressure in the tyres so they road softer - maybe you could try this.

It's a trade off you make. If you're going to keep your tyres under-inflated, you're going to wear out the outsides of em, but it'll be slightly more comfortable..

For about a grand for a decent set of 18's, I know what I'm going to do..

Blue tack !!
Blue tack everywhere i do it even for prevention of possible rattles.
If you have a problem and you dont want to fix it properly then it works well.
Its cheap easy and cleanly comes off. Try it

door handle fix

umm, my cars door handles rattle when i really start cranking the bass, my solution went to my bro-in-law his a cabnet maker, you know those lil clear plastic thingys they put on the inside of the cabnets to stop them from banging when you close them, well i used them and they are self adhesive...worked a treat HTH
