whats tha difference ???

Just wanna know what tha diffrence is with series 1 and series 2 vs commodore executives as im tryin to work out what mine one is (debadged 96 model executive) and also tha diffrencw between getrag manual gear boxes and T5 gear box

getrag have a hydrolic clutch and t5 is a cable clutch. series 1 vs's had the t5 and series 2 had the getrag

What month is it plated?

Series 2 will have more of the "bugs" sorted out.

Easiest way to tell is look at ur side indicators.
If they're square u got series 1 if they oval u got series 2.

nup...doesn't work
my missus' Series I has oval side indicators
(since I bought it new)

the quickest way i know is to check the rear vision mirror inside
series I were mounted to the roof
Series II were glued to the screen (and no mount on the roof)

my mirror is mounted to tha glass i still think its series 1 tho as some were i read series 2 had leather boot and series 1 had carpet. mine has carpet, ugly arse orange side indicators, mmm yeah i just wanna find out what gear box is in it because i might be able to get my hands on a Billet short shifter fairly cheap.. Build date on tha big girl is FEB96

i cant say for sure but i think my S1 mirror is on the window...

hmmmm......

does it have more "buckety" style seats? i know mines a flat top but one of my borthers has a s2 and its seats have better leg support

Series 2 VS started in June 96.

Had series 1 VS actualy 1st months production and mirror was located on window...glued to window
