Just need some help/info here:

Got a VR SS Commodore and the center bearing on the driveshaft is stuffed. Now can the bearing be installed without a press?
Is it possible to replace the 2 piece shaft to a one piece shaft and what car can these be used off and how much to replace without labour?

thanks mark.

I've seen where people put a one piece prop shaft in with success - try a google search for "one piece propeller shaft" on Australian sites and see what comes up. You also need a Gregories manual to replace the centre bearing (about $20-40 on Ebay) Good Luck.

use a kingswood tail shaft and have the commodore yokes put on when u get it shortend. mine didnt even need balancing. but if it vibrates get it done. u wont be able to bolt it up in the centerk, and will flog out uni joints more often but if this option is easyer than go it!!!
