will 20x8.5s fit on a VS?

as far as i knew 19x8 was the biggest u could fit but the guy down at autopro said it would fit with no dramas, is he tellin the truth?

yer man like VR_Project said, cause 20z are getting more common on vs's an i spoke to a guy about fitting 22z, he said no worries but the tryes will wear alot quicker, but 20z won't be a big as a problem

and as VR_Project said (where there is a [wheel] there is a way)

i hear that the VE can fit 20's in the wheel arches without adjusting anything at all...may have been a rumour, but if u could then thats wikid!:D

20's will fit, thats no problem...having it legal is where some other moddification come into play.
in order to have no scrubbing you will have to pump and roll the guards...how you setup the suspension will also have to be well thought out, as having such large rims make suspension travel pretty scarce.
shortened bumpstops, short travel adjustable shocks, and the right choice of springs (most likely not much lower than stock) will be needed.
you will also have to have get a mod plate to keep authorities happy.

20z fit well atleast on my Statesman 20x8.5

No rubbing or rolling or anything.
