Market value?

My mates Vr Exc Commodore with 220000km on the clock has been stolen. But he is not sure of what the payout from the insurance company is going to be

So my question is does anyone know the Insurance Market Value on a VR exc is. Also do u get extra if the car has been modifyed?

ive seen stock vr exec's go from 2000-5000 so it would be somewhere in that range prob 3500 mods u do get more 4 as long as the insurance company knows about them

I got my VR valued $5,135 from NRMA, I have 213,000k's.

december last year AAMI valued my car at $11,800 with 185,000kms on the clock. it is a VS Calais 5.0litre. i just called up to find out if i renew my policy with them what it will be worth, they said $7000, so im keeping it at $11,800 agreed, lol its costing me and extra $5.85 a month.

I recently got the renewal for my VS 5 litre.

They had knocked the insured value down to $7k. I rang tham up and they rattled on about the value of V8s fallling because of fuel prices blah, blah, blah. Who can find a replacement for that ???

Eventually got them to increase it to $9750 (begrugingly).

we had our vs calais with full comp 1100 a year only a v6 an had 210,000 when we renewed it for $12500 racq we no longer have it now tho, but u can get 5 diff ppl to ring the same company an get the same quote but i bet u get 5 diff prices.
