is there any difference between the vr v8 and v6 fuel pumps? also where are they located?

There is no difference as far as i know as i have taken one out of a v6 and put it in my v8 with no problems. They are internal pump located in the fuel tank.

i was wondering this same question to day as neilb and me did the v6 to v8 conversion last week and are having small troubles. thought it might have been a fuel presure problem

i believe the V8's have pump in the tank as well as the one in front of the tank, i guess it sorta works as a booster pump maybe but i'm not sure ifthere is any difference in pressure??
