whats your current setup? subs mounted in a box, or is the amp for running ur rear speakers? I've seen amps mounted on the back of the middle seat that folds down.. all depends if your goin for show or hidden

I have mine mounted on the back of my sub box.. and earth connected to a bolt on the parcel shelf.

yeah, we were thinking that might be a good place to put it, wanted to put it on the back of the seats but didnt relise they were only half plastic and fibre backing, cant really screw an amp into the seat fibre lol.

have seen someone do it on a vr as a fake panel at the back of the boot near the right brack light, thought that might be an ok place to try as well?

thanks a lot, ill have a more careful look at how youve done it and see if thats the way to go.

btw, any good links or websites to check out, i only had a half hearted look

    thx

no subs, everything is stock, just hooking an amp up to the head unit and will buy better speakers towards the end of the year (i hope). I think the amp will be powering just a sub and the front speakers. ive been in a few cars where ppl have spent a bit on getting the front speakers right and not worried about the back ones (save $) and they generally have sounded pretty good. i never sit in the back so i dont care what they sound like.

Mines mounted on the back of the back seats. There's a piece of carpeted wood between the amp and the seat.

Amps at the back of the boot near the seats, attached firmly to the carpet, the earth is the metal thing that holds the jack.

Under the passenger seat works ok but its probably not the best solution.
