are VS SIII 3.8l ecotec rocker covers plastic or alloy.

the vn series one were alloy, they fit vs, but theres a hole on one cover that needs to be welded or a grommet put in it.

IBLOWN has a set that he bought from me, polished them up and put them on his vs.

what's involved in pulling plastic rocker covers off a vp to spray them?
do they need high temp or special plastic paint?

anyone had a crack at this?

taking them off is as easy as undoing the bolts, but with mine, I had to take off the thermostat housing. maybe I did it wrong though. I would suggest a high temp enamel paint and good prep work. and fit new gaskets just to be sure
