Alright,
Since i take it you guys probably have come across changing batteries for your car, what would be a good battery for my Vr V6 Berlina? A range of answers and reasons would be good here as I'm really not certain about what to get, what good brands are, etc. Oh and what prices they are too or what I should expect to pay.
Thanks,![]()

Actually, sorry, but no. I haven't needed a new battery yet for my VS, and in my old car, it was a Mitsubishi L300, with no fancy stuff like air-con or power steering, so i always bought the cheapest thing i could find. $40 tops for a battery for that.
Sorry I can't help you with any advice on this.![]()
ah thats cool man...think im just ganna head to bursons and pick whatever they have...they usually have good stuff

ok i worked in a battery shop for two years, if its just a standard car, get a 9 plate battery (be bout 380cca), but if its got driving lights etc dont f*&k around get a 13 plate battery, century do one costs bout $120 but garrunteed for 2 yrs, and by seeing all the tests, last bout 6-7 years, well worth it
What would be reccomened for a fairly extensive car audio system them, running only the one battery??
Cheers
Selling FG G6E Turbo and buying a N/A Supra
Optima batteries would be the go but it all depends on how extensive you are talking. Link here
They aren't cheap at all by any means but worth their weight in gold from what I've heard previously.
I use Super Charge in the VN, my old man and sister have got the same battery in the VS. They come with a 3 year warranty and no more than $110 either which does enough for me.
if you only want to use one battery and you have got a decent stereo, yes, an optima would be great but be prepared to spend up to $400.00. if you went and got one of the new century 11 plate batteries with the 1.9m thick plates it would last up to three tims longer than a standard heavy duty battery, as these ones only have 1.2mm thick plates
