Rumour has it the GTS-R's were a marketing plot by Holden to get rid of a bunch of Taxi shells that were no longer required...the colour was nicknamed XU-3 Yella...

The only colour I could find on the Spies Hecker site is...Taxi Yellow...D131... maybe someone else can confirm or rebuke this.

Yeah - I understand it to be Taxi Yellow too. I doubt they hd "extra" shells though.

Once upon a time I thought the GTSR looked bloody awesome. How times change. The rear wing was ridiculous and the yellow interior was equally as horrible. I didn't realise it then, but the senator was a much better looking car.
