    Smile vr ex - replacing manual radio aerial? help?

    hi
    can anyone give me any tips on how i maybe able toreplace my holder comm vr ex 1993s' snapped radio aerial?

    ive bought a manual new aerial for $20 and i hoping its not too confusing or tricky job to install it?

    what parts of the car do i need to open up? any who can give step by step instructiona for a non-car minded person - i would be most greatful for the help!

    you'll ahve to remove the p/side front wheel arch and get in from underneath. not sure how, but it can be done. you'll also need to remove the headunit to replace the aerial cable

    I also removed a few of the bolts holding the front quarter panel in place so i could pull it out a bit to get some more space. Be gentle if you do this, you don't want to bend your panel.
