i have a VT commo and am trading in on a Vs... But i have a nit to pic with the auto's in both cars.. What the *** is with the Computerised shift. why cant i hold it in 1st, why does it shift.... i wont be able to have some real fun intill it is fixed.... if it means changing to an older style box i will.. but is there another way...

And auto's will not last long with manual shifting, go for a manual.

it wont hold first because its programmed to change (no matter if the gear shifter is in 1st) once a certain rpm is reached...to save the 'box.
the common way to get around this is to get a shift kit which will hold any gear to any rpm.

the shift is set by road speed, it can be easily programmed.
